Sabine Herold, CEO of the family business DELO, wants to push ahead things and to innovate. But she is increasingly frustrated by an overload of bureaucracy in Germany.
9 March 2023, Windach. Sabine Herold, a graduate engineer specialising in chemistry, became an entrepreneur very suddenly. Together with her husband, she took over part of her former employer Espe Dental in 1997 via a management buyout. Since then, she has been the managing partner of Delo Klebstoffe and established the adhesives specialist (182 million euros in annual turnover) in Windach near Munich.
