
Journalism students get an opportunity to talk to family businesses – here, for example, students of the Deutsche Journalistenschule visit the specialist adhesives manufacturer DELO.
The Foundation for Family Businesses is actively involved in training journalists. One aim is to inform young journalists about the special nature of family businesses and to build mutual trust and cooperation between businesses and journalists. Events have therefore been held regularly with leading German journalism schools since 2005.
With this commitment, the Foundation for Family Businesses is following the call by the Expert Group for Foundations and Quality Journalism (Expertenkreis Stiftungen und Qualitätsjournalismus) at the Association of German Foundations to boost journalists’ training and professional development.
